If you are looking for permanent residency through Federal Skilled Worker Program in Canada then here are a few requirements that you need to qualify in order to file an application under Express Entry.
- The candidate must firstly stand eligible on the selection of factors such as age, education, experience, a job offer from a Canadian employer, language ability, and adaptability
- The applicant must be at least 18 years of age to apply under this program.
- Another requirement for Federal Skilled Worker Program(FSW) is the educational proof that the applicant must provide wherein if he/she has taken Canadian education the proof for the same must be given or if the education qualification is not from Canada then the applicant must provide with an equivalent Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)
- One of the requirements that a candidate should fulfill is the work experience. Moreover, the applicant should at least have a 1-year full-time experience in the same job type as his/her primary occupation.
- The applicant should fulfill the language benchmark of CLB 7 or NCLC 7 in the first official language of Canada. Also, they should qualify with minimum CLB 5 or NCLC 5 in the second official language
- The candidate must show necessary proof of funds when they arrive in Canada to support themselves.
The applicant must score a total of more than 67 points out of 100 points which are used to evaluate applicants under Canada’s Federal Skilled Worker program.
